Il documentario di Murray è stato acquistato dalla RAI
Uno speciale documentario sul rapporto tra Michael Jackson e il dottor Conrad Murray, che è stato condannato a causa della sua morte, sarà tra i programmi in onda di attualità presso il broadcaster italiano Rai.
Michael Jackson and the Doctor: A Fatal Friendship è il documentario di un'ora trasmesso per la prima volta a Londra per Indie Films a ottobre, su Channel 4 del Regno Unito. Si approfondisce il rapporto tra Murray e Jackson e quello che è successo la notte in cui la pop star è morta.
L'accordo con la Rai è stato effettuato dal distributore Zodiak Rights, che ha anche venduto numerosi altri programmi sempre per la Rai.

Michael Jackson and The Doctor: A Fatal Friendship is a one-hour doc from London-based indie October Films that originally aired on Channel 4 in the UK. It delves into the relationship between Murray and Jackson and what happened on the night the pop star died.
The deal with Rai was struck by distributor Zodiak Rights, which has also sold several other programmes to Rai.
Sunset Presse-produced series The Final Days of an Icon (19x60′), giving an insight into the final days of 19 charismatic figures such as Ayrton Senna and Gianni Versace, and The Secret of the Seven Sisters: The Shameful Story of Oil (4x60’) have also been sold.
One-off docs The Two Faces of Auschwitz, from Flach Films, and Islamophobia: Deconstructing the Great Fear of Islam, produced by Premières Lignes Télévison, are also part of the deal.
In related news Zodiak has signed up to distribute scripted reality series Desperate Scousewives (8x60′), from Splash Media, which originally aired on Channel 4′s diginet E4 in the UK.
Spike TV series Repo Games and BBC4 three-parter Sandhurst have also been added to Zodiak’s slate.

La RAI smentisce l'acquisto del documentario di Conrad Murray
Dopo ore e ore di proteste sulle pagine ufficiali della RAI su Facebook, ecco finalmente una risposta:

A quanto pare la Rai NON HA ACQUISTATO il documentario, e non ha intenzione di acquistarlo, come appena rivelato dall'ufficio stampa della RAI su Facebook:
